Description of item for sale:

This large hand carved antique door panel is from France and it dates to the early 1900's.  It is solid oak stained to a warm dark color.  The carving is very deep and three dimensional, notice the detail in the figures.  It is in very good antique condition with only minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age.  Note that there is a slightly larger gap in the seam at the top of the frame (see photo)   Dimensions: 31" tall, 19" wide, 2" thick.  (217)
