MONUMENTAL WALNUT ALABASTER MODERN TONY PAUL WESTWOOD TABLE LAMP 1950's GEORGE NELSON
  • DESIGN:  An elegant and sensual Modern Walnut & Alabaster pedestal base table lamp designed strikingly similar to the walnut Time Life stools of George Nelson, but more likely by Tony Paul and manufactured by Westwood lighting designs circa 195o's. The highly sculptural base is expertly crafted from turned sections of solid milky white Alabaster stone and an oiled Walnut base and accents. Complete with large off-white Linen contemporary drum shade and acrylic shade diffuser which compliments the lean shapely form while casting the ideal ambient light.
  • CONDITION:  This stunning Mid Century Modern Sculptural lamp is in outstanding original condition, completely intact and fully functional. The towering Walnut & Alabaster lamp base exhibits just faint signs of wear and age with no obvious damages or repairs, that said there is evidence of a faint hairline crack in the first alabaster section...but the piece is solid and it may just be inherent in the stones character.  The contemporary white Linen like fabric shade & acrylic diffuser is perfect and compliments the tone and texture of the sculpture strikingly. The socket and power cord are original and have been inspected to be clean, safe and functional.
  • DIMENSIONS:  This lamps general dimensions are 34" tall with an overall width of 6" to the base sculpture, the shade is 16" wide X 11" high…bulb is NOT included.
