This all-band HF transceiver is in as-new condition. It has been rarely used and is being sold because I do not have the time I want to commit to amateur radio.

This is a current North America Icom product (http://www.icomamerica.com/en/products/amateur/hf/718/default.aspx) with coverage of the HF bands from 500kHz - 30MHz. It is a great intoduction to HF communications. It also includes the optional digital signal processor (DSP) for improved noise filtering plus an automatic notch filter.

I have slightly modified the radio to provide a 455kHz IF output on the rear panel (see screenshots). This is useful for software defined radio (SDR) projects such as http://users.skynet.be/myspace/mdsr/. No holes were drilled. If required, this modification can be removed prior to shipping and the original blanking plug added so the radio is in "factory" condition.
