A beautiful rare sterling silver and enamel etui needle case. All pieces including the spool are hallmarked with import marks for London 1927 with the importer being C&C, I would guess it was imported from Scandinavia. It has a beautiful design being decorated with green and blue enamel, the thimble has been set with what looks like mother of pearl. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes chips cracks and repairs and the lid fits perfectly and tightly. It measures almost 2.5 inches (6.2cms) long and weighs 22 grams. A beautiful rare example.
