This a rare 1st pressing of Metallica's 1st LP on Megaforce, and it is signed by all 4 original members including the late great Cliff Burton.  This autograph was gotten at a record store in New Jersey where the band was doing an instore appearance back from 1st tour.  The cover is printed glossy, so most markers' ink will not stay.  I guess they didn't have any nice sharpies around.  James' signature is mostly rubbed off, but you can see some remains.  Lars' signature is also mostly faded out as well.  Kirk's is still pretty clear.  But most importantly, Cliff's is still mostly there.  Cover is VG+ shape and the record is VG++
