Material and Size: 100% silk twill pocket-sized pochette/gavroche.  Measures about 16 ½  inches square.

Colorway and Design Elements:   One border of bright red and another of tan and white bars surround a salmon pink background.  The design features a rearing, smiling snake to commemorate the Chinese Year of the Snake.  Also featured are flowers and what appears to be some Chinese characters.  All of this is set off by a contrasting hem of rose pink.  Colors include shades of red and pink, orange, white and black.

Condition:   New and unworn.  The feel or “hand” of the silk is heavy and “fresh from the shop” crisp.    There are no stains or discolorations, pulled threads, snags or holes, or any other issues to declare.  This scarf is from my personal collection, accumulated over many years.  My scarves have been carefully stored away from heat and light in acid-free tissue-lined boxes; they have never been exposed to smoke, pets, perfume or cosmetics.  Please examine the photos carefully, as I consider them part of the description. Hems and Care Tag:   Hems are round and plump, hand-rolled to the front and hand-sewn in matching thread.  The care tag is intact, as is the Hermes tag.  No “S” stamp.  This is not a sale scarf.  
 
Authenticity: All of my scarves were purchased directly from Hermès  or its authorized sellers, such as Neiman Marcus or Saks, or others whose reputations as sellers of authentic merchandise were never in question. 

Original Orange Box and Hermès Brown Ribbon: Not included.  Your scarf will come to you in an archival-quality resealable plastic bag.
