History.

Minsk Watch Plant "LUCH" since 1953 is the only company in Belarus for the production of timing devices and one of the few companies in the Soviet watchmaking industry which  retains full cycle of production of mechanical watches.

Minsk Watch Plant became famous primarily by brand "Luch", but also it has produced, such  well-known watch as "Zaria", "Vympel" and others. Since Soviet times, the plant produces car clocks and alarm clocks. Today except brand "Luch" MWP offers watches Favorit and Sekonda.

In 2010, the Swiss company "Franck Muller International B.V." has became  the investor company, having signed an Investment Agreement with the Republic of Belarus.

• 15 jewels mechanism.

• Legendary worldwide know 1801.01 caliber mechanism. Originally created on the Luch plant in 1955 and was only modificated once on 1988

• The mechanism is protected from water splashes in normal daily use, like washing hands. Not suitable for swimming.

• 38 hours - duration of hours from a fully wound spring.

• Case diameter excluding crown - 37.6mm.

• The band material - genuine leather. Width of watch band - 20mm.

• Average lifetime of mechanism -  10 years.

• Proudly Manufactured in Minsk, Belarus on the plant OAO "Луч" ("Luch") .
