While I can only Guarantee compatibility with the 2001 740il, this Unit should fit in other E38 and E39 Body style BMWs built from 1995 through 2002 including all 5 series and 7 series. ONE CAVEAT - YOUR BMW MUST BE WIRED FOR NAVIGATION OR ELSE DO NOT BUY. The Screen is in great condition. The Faux Wood Trim is SUPERB. Not even a Scratch.
