NEW PRODUCT!!!!

Sold for Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary in Fife, Scotland.

Welcome to the listing, which helps raise valuable funds for Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary. We are a small group based near Dundee, who specialize in helping feral cats. Sue runs the Group and she does much of the trapping and looking after of the cats. Often she traps, neuters and returns the cats to the same site, where local people have agreed to assist by helping with feeding.

Some cats cannot be returned to their site, so they either come to live at Whinnybank or many farmers or stables ask Sue to have some feral cats for their premises. Where kittens are caught and are young enough, they are tamed by a willing group of volunteers and they are re-homed as pets. Though the group specialize in ferals, there are so many other cats needing help, where possible Sue takes them in and finds loving homes for them. See Cat Chat for cats needing homes.

Sue realises solely on fundraising to keep this much needed group going and I have for the last 3-4 years helped her by selling homemade catnip toys and blankets for her to raise much needed funds. In recent times, I have often asked Sue to pick a cat which needs expensive veterinary care or like Rupert has had the worst treatment possible. Each catnip toy I make is hand knitted and stuffed with toy stuffing. I use loose, dried catnip and put a good pinch in each. I do not buy the catnip blocks which most shop bought toys use, if you ever looked and smelt one you would know why your cat plays with the new toy for a day or two and then leaves it.

I have sold thousands of catnip toys and I have had reported on more than 20 times that owners have arrived home to find the parcel broken open by their cat and the toys well chewed!

As I make each toy freshly deliver time can vary. Please be patient as for instance over Christmas i was ill and as a result there were delays in sending items out.

I also donate catnip toys to Whinnybank and a number of other cat rescue centres free of charge to help as by taking their mouse with them a cat or kitten can settle better.

I do a very large range of goods and to keep costs down I do not always have all my products on Ebay or as you may have a multi-cat household the number desired. Please contact me via “My Messages” and I can give you details and then put a specific order listing on for you.

If you pay by cheque it really helps as well, as the group can use the very high Paypal fees to buy extra food. Any donations added are always passed on in full.

PLEASE HELP.

This kitten came into our care as a normal stray. Unfortunately, he reacted to normal medication/flea treatment which we always give to all new cats and kittens. The approx. 12 week old kitten had to be rushed to the vets after he had a severe allergic reaction. He swelled up and was left with two large abcesses, one on the back of his neck, which is healing well and one on a paw. The vet is still fighting to save the leg, though it is looking hopeful.

So what should have been a normal, probably quick stay with us and a wonderful forever home has turned into a nightmare. The vets bill already stands at £300.00 and is likely to go up towards £500.00.

We desperately need to raise some funds, so to do this all proceeds plus any kind donations from the sale of the following toys will go towards the currently unnamed male kitten:

1. Miaow Toys.

2. I am re-introducing 2 baby mice but at a reduced price of £1.00 plus postage.

3. The Heart Toy.

4. 5 Small mice toys.

Thank you for reading this and Happy Bidding!!!!!
