RARE BUTCHER & SON WATCH POCKET CARBINE 6 X 6 ROLLFILM CAMERA TESSAR LENS GOOD WORKING CONDITION (USED)

This rare 6 x 6 rollfilm camera is in good condition for it's age having been made in about 1910 , I think . I cannot find out much about this camera but it looks like it could be a Butcher & son Watch Pocket Carbine folding front camera made before they merged with Houghton . The finder is in fair condition it is a little hazy but I think that is due to the silvering on the mirror degrading and the taking lens , a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 7.5 cm  6.3 looks fairly clean , no fungus or scratches but does have a small amount of dust in the inside of the front element . The DRGM shutter works well on all the speeds and the bellows look light tight and are generally in good condition . The sliding rails , focusing bed and mechanism are in good order , the aperture is good and works well . The back comes undone fairly easily and the interior is in good condition with a take up spool in place . The exterior is in good used condition all round for a camera this age , some wear to one corner of the front flap covering and some paint loss to the door . Overall size :- 125 x 70 x 25 mm .
