Vintage ABLOY Padlock # 3020
                With One Original Key, Made in Finland

The Abloy handbag style padlock #3020 was invented in the 1920s but I don't know the age of this lock. I'm guessing it's from the early 1970s which is when my father acquired an Abloy key machine. The padlock measures an inch and 7/8 long and from the bottom to the top of the shackle when closed, 2 3/4 in. It also has the old Abloy half moon key which was replaced in the late 1980s. The last picture is from a 1974 catalog.
 
The padlock is in very good working condition. There are some scratches on the body and shackle, especially a large patch on the bottom of the padlock. There is also some discoloration and what looks like rust spots on the shackle. Please check the pictures for more details.
