For sale is a delightful little sliding pencil holder with a rope twist type design

The sliding mechanism is unfortunately stuck in place so it will not extend more than about 7mm from the body so I have not been able to inspect the interior. 

As such selling as found and in need of attention - no doubt an easy fix for someone with knowledge. 

Looks and feels to be solid sterling silver and I understand the hallmarks to be situated on interior the sliding section - you can make out the start of the makers mark on the part that does extend out but unfortunately not more than this

Despite the fault, it is a charming and highly Collectable item
