Pairing procedure (only if holding close to the watch will not work):
-open the module
-turn battery upside down (perhaps change battery prior to make sure)
-set your watch to pairing mode
-turn battery back into normal position
-close monitor
-watch and monitor should pair now, unless there your watch is no compatible (stated on the list above)
This strap is not compatible with Quest or Ambit 3, but compatible with the rest of the Suunto line-up.
Please check this out:
1. Did you try to change the battery ? New additional battery was supplied.
2. When pairing you must be away (20-30 feet) from any other straps or working pods
3. Here is the fool-proof method to pair I use when myself:
3.1 Change battery to a new one provided;
3.2 Move away (20-30 feet) from other pods/straps to avoid interference;
3.3 Open belt, turn battery upside down, don't close the belt;
3.4 Initiate pairing on your watch;
3.5 Take battery out again and put it back into belt, this time as it should be placed (properly)
3.6 Close the belt or at least make sure that battery stays put, snag-in nicely
You should do 3.5 and 3.6 quite quickly, while pairing is active.
Otherwise you will need to repeat 3.4-3.6 again.
If sequence is followed the watch (if compatible) will find the belt.
If this will fail, please initiate the return, stating that your watch is not compatible with the device. After all it is brand new and these things are bullet proof.
