1 PAIR of elegant Natural Rosewood 'BEEHIVE' style door knobs with Brass Rose plates with matching aged  screws & universal spindle.
 
Each pair consist of 2 natural wood turned knobs with brass collars, 2 separate brass rose plates with simple reeding, 1 x spindle & fixing screws which have been matched.
 
We have spent several years developing all our period design door knobs to ensure that they withstand all modern day demands, both domestic & commercial, but without comprising that authentic period look & feel.
 
The brass work has not been sealed or lacquered and so will mellow further and develop a wonderful patina. The door knob is approx 58mm in diameter, the rose is also 58mm in diameter with a projection of 78mm, with the spindle being 103mm long & threaded at both ends.
 
The design of the STEEL grub screw is such that it is tapped through the collar of the door knob & NOT through the narrow/weakest part of the door knob - through the wooden shank or collar - like other designs for sale! This prevents any splitting of the wooden shank, which  remains intact, as it has not be weakened, thus gives years of dependable use.
 
Can be used on either mortise or rim locks as roses are separate.
 
These door knobs have that genuine period look and would really enhance and make a feature of any door.
