This strikingly detailed “SOCOM Spearhead” Challenge Coin commemorates the highly skilled, dedicated and courageous service of past and present warriors who served with U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

Known as the "Quiet Professionals", SOCOM is headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, and is staffed and deployed to maintain "Global Power" with "Global Reach", having approximately 57,000 active duty, Reserve and National Guard Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and DoD civilians assigned to the headquarters.  SOCOM’s components are U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC).

This unique oval-shaped military Challenge Coin measures approximately 1.5 inches in width (at widest points from left to right) and 1.75 inches in height (from top to bottom).
