This listing is for a vintage wooden Thomas the Tank Engine friend.  Toad (one of the brakevans) is the original style without the brake lever.  Toad works on the Great Western Rail line and this is why he has the small letters GW on the side graphics. Toad is in excellent used condition with some slight paint nicking/edge wear.  Toad's wheels are dated 1999 and he is unmarked on the base as are most trains dated prior to 2001.  Unlike most of the Toads who face BACKWARD when hooked to engines---this is a rare one (factory error/early version) that faces FORWARD when hooked to an engine.  Please see all the photos for details. This is NOT a cheap Chinese knock-off, but a genuine Thomas brand train.
