Lathe bed wipers made to fit Colchester Student 1800 and Master 2500 , Made as close as possible to the original ones in ABS plastic

The plastic is a Coffee colour

Very important to have them as they keep the swarf from getting under the carriage slides

Do not be confused with felt ones as these soak up the coolant, turn into a soggy mess and promote rust where they stop and rubber ones quickly wear on their working edges

Their purpose is just to clean the slides, not  to lubricate them, This is done with an oil can through the many oilers on the top of the carriage 

A set consists of two Vee and two Straight for the Carriage and one Vee and one straight for the Tailstock (six pieces)

I have revised my design with the holes bigger to accept the crush bushes and to make them easier to fit

You have to recover your old shields Bushes and springs and these inserts will fit inside them

If you have lost your covers and springs it doesn't matter as these can still be fitted without them see main picture

these will replace the inserts inside the Colchester wiper assembly parts No 77848-0 & 78040-0 

Since I started making Bed wipers I have had positive feedback from my customers many of them pleased that they are available again
