WDCC PINOCCHIO - GEPPETTO'S WORKBENCH - RETIRED!!

The Walt Disney Classics Collection outdid themselves with this wonderfully animated sculpture from Pinocchio. Formally titled Geppetto's 'Workbench "The Finishing Touch", here are some of the particulars:

* 2002 Signature Series release.

* Numbered Limited Edition of 1,000 pieces.

* The moment was selected by Roy E. Disney. Roy's personal connection with Pinocchio is rooted in an unforgettable performance of the story by Uncle Walt when young Roy was sick in bed.

* This third sculpture in the Signature Series features the rarely portrayed Pinocchio as a marionette, before he has been brought to life by the Blue Fairy.

* As a unique "finishing touch," the workbench's outside wall is adorned with the Stromboli poster seen in a later scene in the film.
