Pictures have been taken without any artificial enhancements and in daylight. I have included a few pictures of the curtain against the Farrow and Ball paint chart for a BROAD comparison of colours, this is for a rough indication and not gospel, shades of colour displayed on this page/site may vary according to your screen settings.

MASSIVE single (1 panel) curtain, bespoke made to measure for its last home in a heavy designer flocked chenille fabric that holds a riot of textures!

Spectacular in its disposition - professionally made, extensively hand finished and could easily split to gain a traditional pair of curtains or be bang on trend and have this theatrically draped to one side of your window/door

To be clear, you are bidding on ONE curtain - tieback NOT included

✿ CONDITION: Offered in good pre-owned condition with a few marks to note - surface and confined to the bottom hem line level. There are some loose stitching to the reverse header which does not notice at all when the curtain is in use. A slither of fade to the leading edges - peepers set on max strain to view - and some yellow spotting to the TOP layer lining.The face fabric does not show any signs of exhaustion at all and still retains great shape, no loose and saggy bits, no rips, holes and definitely nOoOoOo suspect whiffs.

✿ FABRIC TEXTURE/COLOUR and DESIGN: Heavy weight ripple cotton and polyester mix face fabric featuring woven flocked chenille for the pattern. Larger than life damask floral encased in cartouches that look ever so encaustic - dripping with shabby chateau chic charm and a definite air of grandeur. Equally impressive and classic colour way, true old gold tones that shimmer and glimmer. The backing holds a slight sheen so the golds do shimmer paler or deeper depending on the light source, and the chenille lends itself to separate shimmering.

✿ HEADER TYPE: Triple pinch (FRENCH) pleat header providing the curtain with a proud and tailor made finished hang- the gathering has been set at the time of sewing. This does mean that the curtain width will not adjust so please do check your measurements carefully below. This can be used for both track and pole systems.

✿ LINING TYPE: Blanket interlined with a good thick wad of woollen interlining and further cotton lined on top. The thickness of the linings aid with insulation and the weight of the face fabric offer slight relief in light and sun blocking as well as sound proofing. Weighted corners ensure perfect drape and hang.

Measurements laid flat +/- 2cm

Width (side to side) along the hem 400 cm or 157.5 inches fixed across the header to 183 cm or 72 inches

Drop (top to bottom) 217 cm or 85.4 inches - Includes the header but excludes a good 3.5 inch hem so scope to lengthen a little still.

Any significant markings, stains, blemishes, rips etc etc will always be highlighted and more than often will be accompanied by a picture of the offender(s), therefore take the time to EXAMINE all the pictures. In the interests of hygiene please ensure that you have accounted for the need to have such items washed/cleaned/freshened before using. The cleaning costs is NOT my responsibility and again, this is a cost that you should factor when purchasing SECOND HAND or PRE-OWNED products.

✿ Shipping is through national freight couriers which is invariably an all day call out. If you are not in, they will either automatically redeliver the next working day, leave a card for you to contact them to reschedule and/or deliver to a local depot/collection point nearby for you to pick up. Should their attempts be unsuccessful, the item will be returned back to me where a 2nd delivery charge will become applicable. Do ensure that a correct contact telephone number is provided as this is required to complete your booking with the carrier.

✿ It is the BUYERS responsibility to request insurance which covers for the FULL final selling price of the item as the standard level of cover is normally £20-£50 therefore should you not cover for the full cost then the amount recovered should there be a loss or damage in transit would only be this amount only. Should the need to claim for insurance due to damages to your item in transit, details will be forwarded onto you to file the claim, I will of course assist as much as I possibly can.

Please, please take a few minutes to read through my Returns and Refunds policy. I have tried to keep it as fair and as comprehensive as possible, for I am NOT an occasional seller that is out to make a 'quick buck' and to shrug my responsibilities when something goes wrong - be it from something I have neglected to mention or simply because you have changed your mind - so there is no need to fib about your reasons for wishing to return any items purchased through me.

Email me in the first instance preferably earlier rather than later; citing your reasons for returning. Items MUST be in the SAME condition and the SAME packaging as it had left me, and whereby you have taken any remedial actions on said item(s) then you waive the right to a refund/return as it will be deemed you have accepted the item(s) condition and therefore the item(s) ownership has passed onto you.

Otherwise, once granted, all item(s) must be received back no later than 3 working days of approval - please send your item TRACKED AND INSURED.

Once received, it will be inspected and should there be any evidence to suggest that they have been used whilst in your care, I reserve the right to deduct a nominal charge for fair usage from the funds due back. Of course, if it remains in the same condition as it had left me - the total purchase price will be returned.

In all instances the return postage cost remains at the buyers responsibility, therefore I do encourage you to ask as many questions as possible BEFORE committing to a bid/purchase as this will cut down the need to return thus would not leave you out of pocket for postage costs.

Should the need for return be an error made by me, I will honour a full refund to include all associated postage costs.
