Q: Whats the difference between this screen and competitors?
A: This screen will be the Exact colour and contrast match for your cluster, this wont shine over bright, dazzle you with extreme contrast or look an odd colour match.
Q: What makes this service different to others?
A: These screens are the original Lcd display installed in Vdo clusters and not copies. Clusters that are still built today have to have new screens in them and these are the screens we fit.
Q. Why does this screen look like it has a dull surface?
A: This is the Oem UV coating applied to the screen that helps the characters (pixels) stand out clearer not allowing the background contrast to dazzle through.
Q. Why do some say this part does not exist anymore and is impossible to obtain?
A: Simple - Yes these are very hard to source but not impossible as we have proved.
Q: Will there be a massive difference with this Oem display and others who are advertising their displays?

You will not lose any mileage or your cluster will not need to be recoded, its simply Plug & Play.
What we do warn you against is once you have removed your cluster then do not attempt to start your vehicle as this can cause slight delays with your immobiliser in your cluster communicating with your Key on reinstalling the instrument back into your car. If this is the issue then please email us and we'll give you a step by step guide on how to reactivate the communication with the Immo to allow your vehicle to start again < this is only if you have attempted to turn the engine over WITHOUT the cluster in. If you avoid this then you will have no issues on reinstalling and it will simple be plug back in a start first time.

How it works:
1. If you are unsure about compatibility of our screen with your cluster then please ask BEFORE you purchase. If we receive your cluster and it is not compatible then there will be the charge of £11.00 return postage plus 15% off the ad price for additional time and costs involved.
2. Once we have your cluster then we will test it on bench first and alert the customer of any issues before we proceed with the repair - Please note that if your cluster has had an attempted repair before and failed then there may be additional costs involved depending on the state of the board if any. If yourself or you know of anyone who has attempted to install an Lcd or has dismantled the cluster causing any issues that would restrict us in our repair then you must inform us as we will not be held responsible for any bad workmanship before we install a new Lcd.
3. All 'in house' repairs will take approx 2-3hrs. This is the repair time and bench test involved plus running the cluster up to heat to be sure 100% that the repair is successful before returning it back to the customer.
4. Typical turnaround time is 24-48hrs but please allow up to 72hrs for turnaround depending on our workload. If there is an issue then repair could take longer but the customer will be informed about this.
5. It is the customers responsibilty to make sure the cluster is packed well enough to avoid any damages from the courier, we will not be held responsible for poor packaging and all claims will be made by you the customer on your own behalf.
6. We understand that sending off a cluster can cause inconvenience having your vehicle immobilised therefore when possible we can do a 'While you wait' service but only by appointment agreed with us. Majority of 'while you wait' service installs will be done at weekends but we may be able to make an exception in some cases to repair during the week. Please discuss this with us.
