You are bidding on a closely matched quad of RCA 7189A 6BQ5 EL84 output tubes. All test as NOS tubes and one is NOS and new in the box.

These tubes have gray plates and large halo getters. They have date codes from the 1960's.

What appear to be blemishes on the plates in the photos are reflections from the flash. There are no blemishes.

These were tested on my Hickok 539C tube tester. They have been tested for plate current, shorts, gas, and transconductance. The tubes test very strong with readings of 10,000/41 mA, 11,000/44, 10000/46 mA and 10000/42 mA. Minimum is 5650.

They have also been played in my LA Audio integrated amp and sound excellent.

All tubes are tested on my calibrated TV-7/B or on my calibrated Hickok 539C. All of these tubes have been tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, leakage and life. All tubes meet or exceed manufacturer published specifications of transconductance (Gm) for the specified tube type. All tests are tested twice - prior to the listing and prior to shipping.

Regarding Shipping

Your tubes will be well packed. All tubes are shipped in white boxes or the original boxes if available. They are than are wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box. I have shipped thousands of tubes all over the world and have not yet had any arrive damaged.

Payment must be received with 2 days of the auction close. Foreign bidders are welcome to bid.
