This is a Hello Kitty Radio Writer Pen Sanrio Co Ltd. This combination item is a radio and pen in one. It plays FM, and includes a pair of earphones, Adjustable Neck strap, and batteries.  It's marked @1976, 2006 Sanrio Co LTD and FAB Starpoint. It's still in its clear retail vacuum pack, which is unopened and would be perfect except for a very minor chipped corner.
