When you're looking to sell an electric bass guitar, the prospect of:

i) sourcing enough cardboard, and

ii) safely packing an electric bass guitar, and

iii) the hassle of constructing a box both large enough and strong enough, are all extremely daunting and time wasting.

With the above challenges in mind, most sellers choose to restrict their listing to 'collection only' or 'local pick-up' option.  This is a common problem that could cost you hundreds of pounds.

By listing as 'collection only' or 'local pick-up only' your market is reduced in size dramatically.  A large percentage of buyers can't / won't / don't want to travel huge distances to collect, so won't bid on your guitar.  As a result, your electric guitar doesn't achieve its true market value and you achieve a lower price / below true market value for your most prized possession.  Great news for local buyers that can buy your guitar at a bargain price but not good news for your pocket!!

Our electric bass guitar boxes (with lids) are manufactured with double wall cardboard and are sized at 1200mm(1200cm) x 400mm(40cm) x 150mm(15cm).  Most, if not all, electric guitars will fit this size box.  If you have any doubts about your specific requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us prior to purchase.

Both the cardboard box and bubble wrap will be shipped together.  ie. bubble wrap inside the box.

Our boxes and lids are brand new, have never been used (apart from when shipped to you) and are sold unbranded which is much wiser than having a tempting Fender / Gibson / Epiphone / Yamaha / Ibanez / Gretsch / Rickenbacker etc logo on it.  Branded boxes advertise the contents of the box to all and sundry.

Important notice: you are purchasing a shipping box as pictured and described in our listing above, you are NOT buying the actual guitar (shown in our photograph in picture 2) this photograph is for illustrative purposes only.

Please note that we use a courier for despatch of the box, upon purchasing if you could please provide us with a contact telephone number for the courier to contact you in case of any difficulty delivering (ie. you may be out when the courier arrives, so the courier could call to arrange a mutually convenient time). Your telephone number will not be used for any other purposes other than this. However, this is just a request and not compulsory so if you would prefer not to leave us your number then that is not a problem.
