* A gorgeous one-off project spanning the course of a year - ‘The Hetchins Project’ - each part was sourced, stripped, cleaned, and rebuilt evolving into a more beautiful bicycle than I ever could have imagined - that the components came luckily into formation from all over the world is somewhat of a phoenix out of the fire moment!
* The heart of the bicycle is a stunning cherry red Hetchins frame, which seems to come alive in the sunlight - almost glowing
* The photographs really do speak for themselves but if I might take a little credit are testament to my efforts, and perfectionism to get every detail right - it was a clinical operation
* If you are unfamiliar with the heritage and status of the originally named Hetchin’s Lightweight Cycle Specialists of Tottenham, London, England please take a look at this excellent website; http://www.hetchins.org/
So many bicycles come and go... This one however, will make you smile to look at - the workmanship of the frame, the rarity of the components ...something more that its parts ...something timeless, and a real joy to ride out on sunny days of freedom!
