Up for sale is a great sample of a fantastic EBC (Electron Beam Coated) prime lens, the Fujica fujinon SW 28mm f/3.5

This lens is extremely sharp and produce the much sought-after EBC Fujinon rendering that creates so much demand for these lenses.

This lens originally featured the Fujinon m42 mount, which has a non-standard aperture lug that makes these lenses impossible to focus to infinity using a standard m42 screw mount body body or m42 adapter. I have precision-lathed off the offending lugs, leaving a much cleaner finish than is typically seen with hand-filed modded samples of this lens. From standard m42, this lens is now adaptable to almost any format with an inexpensive adapter, including Pentax K, Nikon F, Canon EOS, Sony NEX/A7, m4/3, etc.

Since these lenses also do not have an A/M switch, I have also inserted a removable stop on the internal pin mechanism so they can be used in stop-down mode on digital and Pentax K mount film cameras. If you intend to purchase this lens for use with a Spotmatic or similar screw mount camera body, let me know, and I will remove the stop prior to sending out.

Lens is in excellent condition with very light barrel wear, light wear to the beauty ring, perfect mechanics, and glass free of scratches, haze, and fungus. Lens includes original Fujica branded rear cap, and Optex 1A filter.
