Item Description
For sale is a Fox Renard Model Oboe (Model #333) in excellent condition. This instrument is a very high quality Oboe. Foxes are widely regarded as one of the absolute best brands for double-reed instruments. This instrument has a conservatory fingering setup down to Bb with many alternate trill keys not found on lesser quality instruments. It is made from a special resonite composite that outlasts and is much easier to maintain than a wooden instrument. It will never crack. The keys are silver plated and really look great! Photos below are of the instrument you will be receiving.
This particular instrument is in good condition. There is minor scratching on instrument body. The silver plating shows some wear in several places, as well as some scratches on a few keys. The middle tenon was replaced, but this does not affect the instrument’s playability or tone. It comes with a Nice Protec oboe case that has room for extra supplies and tools on the outside pouch. In addition to the Oboe, you will receive a new reed, swab, and tube of cork grease: everything you need to get started and take good care of your new instrument for years to come.

Why Buy From Us?
We actually fix the instruments we sell! Unlike many sellers on eBay who claim not to know anything about the instruments they are selling, we are woodwind specialists with decades of combined experience. We care about how all our instruments sound and play, and our feedback record reflects that. We professionally adjust, overhaul, and clean up all instruments that we sell to insure you the highest quality musical instruments available on eBay. This process takes hours for each individual horn and would normally cost several hundred dollars at your local music shop. This 10+ point process means replacing worn and damaged pads, adjusting the position of leaky pads to seal properly, adjusting and replacing damaged springs, making sure the instrument is regulated to play all alternate fingerings, replacing loose cork connectors, instrument cleaning, oiling, playtesting, and steralizing the instrument.
You can be assured that when you receive the instrument it will be in top playing condition. We are so confident that you will not only enjoy, but love your new instrument that we offer a 30-day no questions asked money back guarantee on all our instruments. If you are not satisfied in any way with your purchase, return the instrument for a full refund minus shipping.
