This is a B&H "imported" or "grey market" item, meaning it does not come with a Sony warranty. As B&H says: "Grey market is not illegal, not factory seconds, not demo merchandise, not cheaper or inferior quality."
This model shoots PAL video by default, but you can switch it to NTSC mode in the menu.
