The "John Lucio Eagle Dancer" Cuff Bracelet

This wonderful Eagle Dancer Bracelet was made by the famous and talented Zuni artist John Lucio (b. 1919+/-). He started producing jewelry in the 1930's and was active into the 1980's. He is perhaps the most famous for his "Eagle Dancer" design in his jewelry. As a noted Zuni artist, his work is featured in several high end galleries and collections in all the major Native Jewelry catalogs and reference books. This is "double struck" stamped with his hallmark "J. LUCIO". Many or most of his earlier pieces were not signed. As you probably know, most of the pre-1970 Native jewelry was not signed. I have an almost identical signed John Lucio Bracelet for sale right now on eBay. I also have at least two identical Lucio buckles in my personal collection as well.  There is no doubt that he made this and is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and authentic. I have found no defects like cracked or loose stones, noticeable scratches, etc. in the Bracelet. It has a warm dark tarnish... I believe that you will be pleased!

The workmanship is exceptional and fine. It features a raised channel inlay pattern of several stones including Turquoise, Onyx, Coral, and Mother of Pearl. The Bracelet is built up on a Sterling Silver base that has numerous pieces of these stones set tightly into the intricate Sterling Silver frame of the Eagle Dancers body and feathers. I love the stamp work and stamped water drops that give it visual depth! This is a highly desirable and iconic John Lucio museum quality piece.

This amazing Bracelet is full of character and will be immediately recognized by many people. When you take a look at the pictures, please inspect the bracelet carefully for the fine detail in both design and execution. Your friends may compliment you and your taste in Zuni Jewelry.

Thanks!
