This 10" 254 mm 8.0 enlarging lens is in good condition for it's age have been made in the 1940s I should think . It was probably an Air Ministry enlarging lens from the wartime . There are no signs fungus or scratches to the glass which is bright and clear but there is a small amount of dust or paint particles inside as is normal for most lenses of this age and some haze in the front element which should have little effect on image quality . The aperture ring works as it should , the 16 iris blades show some sign of wear and have no oil on them . The exterior is in good used condition with a few marks commensurate with years of used and the filter ring is good . Comes with the original brass front lens cap .
