For sale is a 1981 Gibson ES-335 Cherry with original Tim Shaw pickups and non original case. This guitar is in very good condition and in perfect working order. There are some light scratches, dings, and finish checking throughout. This guitar is marked a factory "SECOND". In the 70's and 80's Gibson would put this on guitars that had factory blemishes in the finish. By now most vintage guitars have blemishes, so there is no difference. There are no issues with this guitar. Overall, I would give it a solid 8.5 out of 10 condition. Aside from the bridge and the frets, everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or major issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The non original case works great.
