You are bidding on a 0.5x Nikon Microscope Phototube to a Micro Four Thirds camera Bayonet as shown below. The Adapter uses a 23.2mm nosepiece diameter insertion end to phototube and a standard Micro 4/3 Bayonet to C-Mount (2.54mm or 1 inch diameter with 32 threads per inch) for camera attachment

The following cameras use this system: Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1,-GF2,-GF3, GH1, G1 And Olympus PEN, E-P1, E-P2, E-P3, E-PL1, E-PL2, E-PL3 .    This camera type and adapter are all used as part of the Micro Four Thirds MFT Micro 4/3 joint venture in interchangeable lenses. 

     This is the piece you are bidding on fully assembled. A Micro 4/3 Four Thirds Bayonet  mount to 0.5x  nose piece adapter.  Note: Camera not included.

     The device is designed to insert into any  Microscope which contains a 23.2 mm photoport.  This adapter can be used on the microscopes listed above.

    This is the key to using the 23.2mm nose adapter with a Optiphot, Labophot, Apophot, or Alphaphot trinocular tube. Notice the tube inside the 42mm diameter trinocular tube. If your microscope has this tube inside you can use this adapter.

  This is an example  of a dedicated USB camera set up on a Nikon Apophot with the chimney removed and the nose piece slides into the 23.2 mm phototube inside the 42mm trinocular tube.  So if you have a USB camera you can use the nose piece for both type of cameras.
