This is a Real Besson Echo cornet.  It has some beautiful engraving around the bell, which is still very sharp.  This one plays, but needs some work.  The spit valve area has been soldered on the past, and needs to be fixed.  The screw that tightens the echo bell onto the cornet is broken so the echo bell isn't secure.  Otherwise, just dings and dents and re-solder some of the braces.  The valves are a little loose but it is playable as is.  It is silver plated, and there is a little silver wear at the hand hold points.  Serial number 18740, and the crook has 740 stamped on it so it appears to be original.  No case or mouthpiece.  Sold As Is
