Shimano traditional basic model equipped with a digital control brake "I-DC +" [Scorpion DC]. "DC +" that merged the merits of "I-DC 4" and "DC +", making full automatic adjustment of brake possible. Furthermore, by using a conventional photosensor as a magnetic sensor, we succeeded in lighter weight and improved water resistance.

Also, as with "DC +", there are 3 modes less than "I-DC 4" to adjust according to the usage line. It corresponds to most situations just by selecting these three types according to the usage line. It is possible to control the braking force automatically without requiring fine adjustment by the angler.

In addition to "I-N" corresponding to nylon line, "I-F" corresponding to fluorocarbon line, mode is equipped with "I-P" corresponding to PE line set based on "Power Pro" of 2.25.
