The Propper CWU-27P Nomex flight suit is built to military specification FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A) as worn by all U.S. flight crews.

Constructed of 92% Meta Aramid, 5% Para Aramid and 3% conductive fiber fabrics,

which makes this garment flame-resistant. Features a two-way zipper with pull, six primary pockets, adjustable waist belt with HOOK & LOOP fasteners, a knife pocket on the left inseam, pencil pocket on the left sleeve and a gusseted back.

CWU-27P Nomex flight suit is built to military specification FNS/PD 96-17 (MIL-C-83141A) as worn by all U.S. flight crews.

Flight suits of this type are worn by Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, & Coast Guard.

The current flight suit that is standard is made of Nomex, a fabric made from spun aramid that is lightweight and fire-resistant.

The flame-retardant capabilities of this material make it ideal for protecting aviators in case of a fire.

Flame-retardant are also worn by oil field crews, truckers handling fuel, etc.

COVERALLS HAVE A COVERED, HOOk & LOOP FASTENED ZIPPERED PEN AND PENCIL POCKET ON THE LEFT SHOULDER, A PENLIGHT - KNIFE POCKET WITH A SNAP CLOSURE ON THE INSIDE OF THE LEFT THIGH, TWO ZIPPERED SLASH POCKETS ON THE CHEST, TWO ZIPPERED CARGO POCKETS ON THE THIGH, TWO ZIPPERED CARGO POCKETS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CALF, AND A ZIPPER WITH PULL FROM THE CROTCH TO THE COLLAR
