Antique Japanese samurai short sword tanto MUNEMITSU 宗光 signed with fine koshirae.
Blade is overall in good condition with normal signs of wear,scratches,scars,rust and stain,guaranteed against hagire. Please pay attention to elaborate exterior.
This is an antique made in hundreds of years ago.There are imperfections or blemishes due to aging.Please see the close-up pictures and movie for details.

USA, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, Thailand,  Singapore and UK seem to be OK to ship by EMS, but  please check before bidding.
・If Japan Post doesn’t accept to ship swords by  EMS, we don’t have any option to ship swords to the countries such as Italy, Netherlands, Austria, Russia, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Poland and Sweden.  There is no choice for us to put exclude country lists for these countries. This situation is totally out of our control, and please understand this before bidding.
                           
・Attention buyers in Russia and China: I will NOT ship to Russia or China (Hong Kong is OK). The customs in those countries have blocks katana shipments. Unless you have a receiving address outside Russian Federation, or China, please refrain from bidding.
                           
・Please make sure with your country's customs before making an order or a bid that the Japanese sword can be imported into your country without a problem.

[The Procedure of sending Japanese swords abroad-It takes additional time!]
・All our swords with hand forged blade are registered  in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education(Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education.
・After receiving the full payment of the items, we return the registration card and get the permission from Ministry of Cultural Affairs to export the swords legally from Japan. It will take about 14-17 business days to do this procedure.
・After the receiving the permission, we will inform you by email and send the items immediately.
                             
・I can not send original registration card.I send the copy of it.
