Original WW2 German Luger hardshell holster.  JME 1941 with beautiful Waffenamt.  Excellent condition with all internal straps.  Soft, supple condition and never been treated.  All original on as found condition.  

The holster has been GI modified to carry a .45.  Definitely a period done modification done with care.
