Lovely Dobro-style resonator, badged Maya but the internet says that these are actually rebadged Takamine DB180 - it certainly sounds and feels to be of that quality

Previous owner has had the cover plate professionally re-chromed.

The saddle in the biscuit has 2 options. A hand sanded bone saddle or a brass saddle to give different tones. It also has an adjustable height saddle (easily adjustable with 2 slotted screws either side of the saddle to raise or lower it) which can be lifted to make the strings high enough to be used as a Lap Steel/Dobro and played with a Slide or tone bar. There is a bone nut supplied which can slot in between the original nut and the first fret(zero fret) to lift the strings high enough or you can buy action raisers cheaply enough.

It also has a Frontline Transducer fitted although only very loosely and it will probably come loose in transit - I attached it lightly with double sided tape just to check that it worked. This is deliberate to give the buyer some options:
1) refit the Frontline with superglue if you are happy to keep it;
2) leave it acoustic;
3) fit a better pickup like the Fishman Resophonic I am listing separately

There is also a chromed biscuit bridge cover also included if you want to fit it

There is also a solid, if slightly tatty, hard case
