ANTIQUE CAST IRON #6 & 7 FOUR-LEG KETTLE WITH BAIL HANDLE

This cast iron kettle measures 8-7/8" tall with a 9-1/2" outside and 8-3/8" inside diameter at the top below the flared rim. It features a slight bulge, four 1/4" long legs, with a gatemark on the bottom and a bail handle. The kettle is marked 6 7 on the bottom.

This kettle is clean and remains in good condition. There is very minimal pitting on the interior or exterior and no carbon. The legs are evenly worn so the pot sits level on any flat surface.

A great medium size early kettle (circa 1870-1890) that is ready to use over an open flame, wood stove or just bring authenticity to your hearth.
