This auction is for a Minichamps 1988 BMW E30 M3 in 1:18th scale. This high quality replica features the DTM race car driven by Gerhard Müller. Minichamps models feature outstanding detail. The car is mint in it's original box. The box shows minor shelf wear with light scuffs. Please see the photos. This model features great detail and value. Be sure to check out the spot-on race interior with a silver painted rear area and red floor panels. Open the hood to find a fully plumbed 2.3l I4 motor. Make no mistake, the DTM E30 launched the M3 legend and vaulted BMW into a world player. One of the most successful Group A touring cars was the BMW M3 which had great success in DTM, the World Touring Car Championship, European Touring Car, British Touring Car, Italia Superturismo, and Australian Touring Car Championships. Minichamps even got the classic BBS rims right. Photos cannot showcase Minichamps' superior quality. This hard top version has the correct reverse opening hood and a HUGE rear wing.
