CAMPAGNOLO VINTAGE CHORUS / MAVIC CXP33 AERO 700C ROAD RACE WHEELS 1990s *A1*

Up for auction are these superb, very lightweight and sought after vintage Campagnolo Chorus Exa-Drive / Mavic CXP33 Semi-Aero Road Race Wheels. They are the legendary and bomb-proof Mavic CXP33 rims for clincher tyres that have a black anodised finish and are laced with double-butted stainless steel spokes to Chorus Exa-Drive small flange hubs. They are 9, 10 or 11 speed compatible have 32 holes and OLN of 100mm and 130mm. They come complete with the original quick release skewers.

The condition of these wheels is superb; there are a few very light marks but the rims are only lightly used and the hubs spin super smoothly.

These are the type of hubs that are, for some, at the very pinnacle of Campagnolo's engineering. They will last a lifetime and yet are very light and elegant. They were similar to those regularly used by the professionals when racing in the Grand Tours and One-Day Classics during the 1990s and early 2000s. This is a very high quality wheelset in excellent condition which will happily grace a top end retro or modern build with Campag equipment on a Carbon, Reynolds, Vitus or Columbus frame.
