Up for auction, a 4/4, full sized, estate found violin. Violin being sold for parts or repair or restoration project and is not in playable condition.
Details to describe (check pics):
1. violin is made of a top notch quality wood, tight spruce in the top, well flamed back, ribs, neck and pegbox
2. i can see a crack project that goes from the right side of the saddle all the way under the fingerboard, it is not a crack yet but will be some day in the future, actually very stable
3. peg box in perfect condition, no bushes or other repairs, no pegs included
4. this violin wasn't luck when it felt in a grouse carpenter or a jack of all trades' hands
5. has a beautiful honey dark brownish varnish
6. there is I guess hot glue in the back side close to the lower boult, in the place where the neck connects with the body, over the nut and a few hot glue spills over the top plate of this violin
7. has tail gut button
8. the neck has never been removed from this violin, the marks and cuts you can see in the connections with the body, along with the hot glued in the lower boult described above, were for sure an attempt to connect the both pieces in the back
9. the back two pieces connection is unstable and moving under my finger pressure. This can be re-glued with proper professional tool from outside, there is no need to open the violin
