Here is a beautiful Chinese Tang San Cai dragon with rider. It stands 14.5" high and is 12.1/4" wide. It is done with very fine handywork and detailing. It is in great condition. I have owned this piece for more than 30 years. I do not know its age. There is no visible trademark on the item. There is a small hole behind the neck of the rider (please see photo). I assume this was intentionally done for firing production.

Sancai is a Chinese name meaning three glazes of a low fired lead glaze based style of decorating earthware pottery regardless of the actual number of colors of the item.
