LEVI’S® VINTAGE CLOTHING REDLINE SELVAGE 1967 505® ‘BOY’ WASH JEAN

It was in 1967 that Levi’s introduced the first ever pre-shrunk jean to the market with the everyday denim-wearer in mind. The jean was made from classic Levi’s red selvedge denim, washed to offer the degree of comfort unsurpassed before.

The 1967 505® is a slim cut with low rise and straight narrow leg. The original period details include the top button made of copper rather than zinc, brass Talon® zipper fastener on the flies and large, slightly asymmetrical back pockets with double-needle-stitched Arcuate design, double-sided Levi’s® Capital E pocket tag and the “leather look” Two-horse patch made of pressed cardboard.

This pair comes in a special “Boy” finish designed to resemble a genuine pair of 1967 505′s from the Levi’s archives. The fabric is dark-coloured redline selvage heavier-weight 14 oz denim, over-dyed, stone-washed and creased for that distinctly worn-in appearance.

Features: Stone-washed 14 oz Red Selvage right-hand twill denim fabric, copper top bottom stamped 093 on the back, 2 rear pockets with no rivets and double-needle-stitched Arcuate design, no V-stitch near the top button, watch pocket with rivets and no redline selvage on the inside of the top edge, bar tacking in black and Talon® zip flies, slight fraying on the pocket edges and leg hems. The jeans are made in Turkey from American XX (top quality) denim fabric.

The jeans are pre-washed and will not shrink after washing. They fit about 1 to 2 inches smaller than the marked size so buying one size up is recommended.
