The Army Aircrew Uniform (A2CU) is a 2 piece uniform designed to protect the wearer in a flash fire.
It is constructed with a flame resistant blend of 92 percent Nomex, 5 percent Kevlar, and 3 percent anti-static dissipative fiber.
Contractors Vary.  All are made to the same standard, however some use the generic term Aramid.
