The Girard-Perregaux Classique Elegance line of watches are direct ancestors of today's Girard-Perregaux Tribute to 1966 watches. The beauty of this understated yet impeccably finished timepiece cannot be overstated. If you think the watch looks impressive on the photos, you will be even more satisfied when marveling it in person.
The aesthetics
of this watch are determined by a striking form that is dictated by both function and style. Having a rich history in aviation and automobile racing, Girard-Perregaux's chronographs are known for their accuracy, durability, and usability. This chronograph comes with an additional fly-back function allowing the user to quickly reset the chronograph for race lap timing or multiple-maneuver timing. For an in-house fly-back chronograph from such a reputable Manufacture d'horlogerie (in-house watchmaker), the price is very reasonable.
This watch was only worn twice. It was sent to Girard-Perregaux for servicing recently and performs well within specs. There is an almost unnoticeable hairline scratch on the bezel in the 12 o'clock position. Otherwise, you'd think the watch was bought brand new. The owner needed to sell this gem due
to a personal emergency. It will be sorely missed.
