700c x 36H Velocity Deep-V to Miche Primato Pista Hubs Track Wheelset - Brand New

These wheels are new. They were expertly laced/tensioned by a professional mechanic. They are true and the spoke tension is appropriate and uniform. (Note: because the rear hub is single-sided fixed, its flanges are offset in relation to the rim. The result is shorter, higher-tensioned drive-side spokes.) Hubs are Miche Primato low-flange pista (100mm front spacing, 120mm rear; single-sided fixed); spokes are DT Champion (or Wheelsmith) 2.0mm with 12mm brass nipples; and the rims are the U.S.-made Velocity Deep-V in dreamy anodized red with non-machined sidewalls. Again, the rear hub is designed to accept a track cog on one side; no provision for freewheel! These should stand up to just about anything! Plus, they will boost your bike's bling factor instantly. For twenty dollars more, I will include a brand-new cog of your choice (Surly, All-City, or Profile: various teeth counts).

Retail for the rims is $160, the hubs $130, and the spokes/nipples $60. Add another $140 for a build fee at any good shop and you're looking at $490 out the door. Opening bid set to less than half that. No reserve.
