This is a needle-felted, yellow Labrador Retriever puppy. I am working on a collection of different dog breeds, and labs are one of my favorites.
This puppy is made of a gorgeous, off-white Romney wool roving. The basic skeleton is wire pipe cleaners. He has his own red collar with gold ID tag. This figure stands 3.75" tall.
He is handmade with all the quirks and imperfections that make fiber art so wonderful. These are my artistic interpretations, and though I strive for a realistic style in my work, they are indeed interpretations.
