This is very unique Leica IIIb. It was modified to replace default cloth shutter curtains by titanium ones. Now it is not afraid of cold or direct sun exposure with a non-capped lens. All speeds were preserved in the process. The camera's rangefinder is properly alligned, is contrasty and accurate. Viewfinder is clear. The metal part of the body shows significant wear though - there are some scratches, and someone shimmed serial number from the top plate for whatever reason. The remote release thread connector cap is missing, so the thread is bear. But I will throw in a compatible release cable. Another issue is that the camera seems to leave scratches on modern thick-based films. I am sure any qualified leica repairman will be able to cure it for cheap.
