This auction is for a Kyosho Mercedes-Benz CLK in 1:18th scale. This quality replica captures the sporty 500 cabrio. The car is mint. The box shows shelf wear with light scuffs. Please see the photos. The color is cadet blue with a light gray interior. Don't miss the gathered sport seats. A detailed engine bay shows the 5.0l V8 motor with a silver and black cam cover. Painted wood trim on the console and door panels complete an outstanding effort. The second generation CLK was launched in 2002; like the first generation it was available in two body styles, a hardtop coupé (C209) and a cabriolet (A209), introduced in 2003 for the 2004 model year. At introduction, it was available with a 3.2-litre engine (US), a 5.0-litre engine, and a 5.5-litre engine. This generation of the CLK-Class is 61 mm (2.4 in) longer, 18 mm (0.7 in) wider and 28 mm (1.1 in) taller than its predecessor. In Europe the CLK was available in luxury "Elegance" or sporty "Avantgarde" specification, the former using burled walnut trim and polished alloy wheels, the latter aluminum trim and wider, sportier wheels.
