A very unusual sterling silver bottle. It is hallmarked on the stopper and tests as high grade silver. I would date it to the late 19th century most likely used to contain holy water. It has been interestingly designed being cast with an image of a cherub riding a serpent like fish. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures over 3.25 inches (8.6cms) tall by 1.5 inches (4cms) wide and weighs 45 grams. A good quality interesting piece.
